Plan and direct design of software products/enhancements. Plan and establish product goals/development strategies. Identify/analyze user requirements to develop new features. Develop Java EE applications; monitor and update to recent release versions. Develop high-security applications to follow PCI/CISP compliance. Design database architecture to achieve high-performance query execution. Implement query indices and statistics. Monitor and oversee production environment with Network Manager. Plan and schedule product releases. Identify and resolve immediate/potential issues in production applications/environment. Draft detailed reports on work, projects completed, and product releases. Gather requirements, estimate Level of Effort, draft development stories, facilitate backlog reviews and sprint planning meetings, and coordinate resources. Review QA results and perform final review. Identify areas for improvement/efficiency gains. Lead product development team and escalate technical issues, roadblocks, or project risks. Coordinate with Technical/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements. Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and lead daily stand-up/Scrum meetings.

Requires Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field and coursework in Database Modeling & Administration, Data Warehouse Analytics & Design, Enterprise Information Technology, Business Analytics & Data Mining, and Enterprise Systems Security.
